With this release, Poland's Darzamat deliver a brilliant performance of symphonic, dark, passionate metal. The album centers around the late medieval witch trials, and religious crimes of the church during that time. I thought it was a truely great topic for a themed album. The music itself offers songs with lengths of around 3 - 5 minutes. A hard metal style with both male and female vocals. By far Darzamat's best album. Great packaging, songs, writing, and production.
