Battlelore is something a little out of the ordinary. Their songs are comprised from poetry and the writings of J.R.R Tolkien. When you first here that you tend to immediatly think that the band is going to be cheesy, and it may be hard to take a band that dresses the part on stage seriously. However, one listen to Swords Song, and you will quickly realize this is no untalented fantasy band.
Battlelore packs a lot of talent. Their songs blend vicious male death metal style vocals with delicate female vocals. They offer solid heavy guitar riffs, mixed with whimsical keyboard arrangements. Together these elements create songs that you will have stuck in your head for days.
