1. So for those who don't know, you have on good terms left Evergrey. Is there any possiblity of reuniting with them in the future?

Well no not really, I left the band because I saw no future for me in that band anymore. The music just didn't give me the kick I want anymore and I felt stuck in my personal evolution. It was a hard deicision to make but at the same time a easy one because music is my life and it was about time for me to move on.

2. The musicianship in Evergrey is second to none, when did your musical training begin?

Music has always been a big part of my life, something I got from the rest of my family but I started to seriously play about 14 years ago now. It's been my main priority for about 8 or 9 years now.

3. So as of 2007 you might be the busiest man in metal. Your currently working with the band Engel, The Project Hate, and All Ends, how do you keep your life organized?

Ha,ha,ha maybe that's true. Leaving Evergrey gave me the opportunity to do more stuff since I at the moment don't have any band that needs my 100% dedication all the time. But that is just for now, soon the machinery in Engel will start to roll and then that will be my main focus and priority. Of course it's hard to have a organized life when I'm involved in 3 projects at the same time but it's planning that is the major key in this. Except playing music that is what takes the most time, to make it all possible. The Project Hate is not a touring band so that only demands time from me when it's time for a new record so that is not so hard to squeeze in between the other stuff. With All Ends I'm only hired to do their debutalbum and the tour I am currenty on and the timing was perfect since I am not doing anything with Engel at the moment. But for sure, it's hard to find the time to do it all and still have some time left for my family, which I value as nr.1

4. Let's talk about Engel for a moment, you are a full time member of this band, what can we expect this year from Engel?

Yes Engel is my main priority, that is the band I have been a member of since I left Evergrey. I see a lot of potencial in Engel and I am confident in what we do and I strongly believe that we will have a great future in the scene. There are a lot of things coming up this year from Enge, unfortunately I can't share any of that at this moment but shortly there will be a lot of news. Everything will be posted at www.engelpropaganda.com and www.myspace.com/engelmusic as soon as everything is confirmed and we can go official with it all so keep your eyes open for Engel in 2007!!!

5. Another band you seem to be really excited about is The Project Hate, what can you tell us about them?

The Project Hate is a great project for me to chanalize my crazy ideas and develop my skills both when it comes to playing and writing/arranging. I have no limits here, I can do all I want and just go crazy and that is what I love about it. I am also a big fan of the music, perfect contrasts that makes it really interesting. Being a part of this constellation is of great value for me. We just finished the recording of our new album and it turned out really great. This is the first album with a real drummer. I brought in the drummer from Engel to do it and he made a fantastic work and this made our sound grow alot se we are very happy about that.

6. You have also played in Embraced, Mortum, The Forsaken, and of course Evergrey, Did you ever consider another career, or did you know you were meant to play music?

As I said before music is my life and for as long as I have the opportunity to keep on doing it and for as long as I have the same urge towards it I will continue to do so. I really haven spent som much time thinking about what to do after that. The future will tell.

7. If you don't mind tell us a bit about Ms. Mary Mayhem.

Ms.Mary Mayhem is my beautiful wife to be. She is the most important person in my life, without her and her support none of this would be possible. She is working as a model for the alternative modelagency Nocturnal Models Agency and you can see her portfolio at www.nocturnalmodels.com/marymayhem There you will also find all the details you need if you want to use her or another model for musicvideos, bandphotos or whatever other situation where you would want an alternative model.

8. Along with you music you seem to favor Japanese tattoo art. Tell us about the piece on your chest, it's a pretty serious endeavor.

That is the second step of my japanese bodysuit (spelling?) The piece on my chest is a old traditional fight between good and evil in the shapes of a dragon and a pheonix bird. Obviously this a big work that I have started on so it will take several years before my entire body is done.

9. Who is doing your tats?

It's done by a fantastic artist called Charlie at Tattooworld Malmoe in Malmoe, Sweden .

10. So where can fans expect to see you popping up in 2007?

Currently I'm on tour with All Ends in Europe , we are doing the Earthshaker Roadshock Tour throughout Europe and I will also do some summerfestivals with them. All the info about that is found at www.allends.com . Other than that we have big plans for Engel during the fall and winter but I have no confirmed info to share for now. But I will definitly spend a lot of time on the road this year. So if you have the opportunity, come on out and grab a beer or two!!

11. What is one thing fans should know about you?

I love beer and Fernet Branca :)
