1. Some may know you from your work with Black Metal band Blodarv, but you are also a solos artist. What made you decide to create Sepulchral Cries?

Actually, I hav worked on this project since 2003 but it only got a name in 2006. The passion for the dark and sinister atmospheres, made me wanna create this project, I had reached the point in life, where I had to get the things out of my head. And there is no better way to do that than to?create music. So Sepulchral is like a journey thru my head, it is every day thoughts, and very personal, many of the lyrics are?also taken from?real life, and described as a story.?

2. Between your own work and your work with Blodarv are there any other bands or projects you are working with??

At the moment I only work with my own things and with Blodarvs things, Its hard to find time to do other things with other bands. To make something perfect, you cant really work with to much, it gets hard to focus. Thats the main reason I only work with two things. If you work in many bands it is only possible to move around on the surface because there is to much for you to do, but if you only have one or two things it is easier to go in to the deapths of things, and really create something special. Me and Hugin(Blodarv) really thinks alike on many things, not all things but many, so it is easy for me to understand him and his music, so it is not hard for me to be in Blodarv. But dont think I would spend to much time on other bands.

3. In 2007 you released your 1st album "Misery Exhibits", followed by "A Sombre Soul", in 2008. Will there be a future release?

Hell yeah, there will be more from me, Sepulchral is now so big a part of my life I couldn't live without it. And that also the reason why it took me so long to find a name for it and so on, things should be perfect and 100 % suitable before I put something out there you know, so yes there will be alot more from me, I'm in a constent creating process, cant turn it of now..

4. Are you playing any of your songs live with Blodarv?

Not with Blodarv, I thought of asking Hugin if he would like to play one song live, but I know Hugin well enough to know the answer, so I didn't ask him. His music and concerts means alot to him, so I wont go play my songs with him, or bother his mind with my own personal?wish of do a song. He's got enough on his mind as it is.

5. You mentioned on your myspace a facination with death and the afterlife. Is your music a reflection of this facination?

Many of the lyrics I write is about death, and my own fantasy of what lurks beyond, the feelings in death, and in sorrow and so on, I think it is an interesting subject to write about, and writing about this?makes is possoble to really create a sinister and odd atmosphere, writing satanic lyrics is to easy, and so many bands does that. When you crawl under the skin of death, you find that great stories are waiting to be found and told.. ?

6. Black Metal is a cold journey. what drew you to this life in metal's darkest style?

My own mind I guess, the way I think, my fantasies, all the things I lust for has allways been dark and evil and twisted. If a person is like that in his head, I think he or she automaticly gets drawn to whats suits him best, and really, are there anything out there more twisted evil and dark as Black metal? and the people that makes it? Black metal suits me and it gives me the plesure life cant give me.

7. What is the next big goal for your music?

Next big goal, making an album is allways a big goal, because it can allways get better than the previous one. And I am in the moment working on new stuff for a new full lenght album and I make material and story boards for a DVD, so a big goal would be to get those things out. And I go with the idea to take Sepulchral to the stage, I have some great friends that have agreed to help me out with this issue so that would be the highest goal for me, to present my music live. But it is still only an idea an more people is needed to make this possible.

8. Is there anything you would like to incorporate into your music that you have not yet tried?

That is hard for me to answer, because every song represents me and my thoughts on the current time, I cant say what I feel in the future. Thats why I can never tell what the music plans are for a upcoming, every song is different from each other, and are not planned, there are allways some riffs and stuff, but things I put into a song comes from the emotions and thoughts I have at that moment the song is made. So I dont think and plan of anything I could put into it or things I havent done before or stuff like that, The songs sounds like the thoughts I have at the time. So as of now, I guess I must say no, but things allways happen during a recording, but nothing planned.

9. Where can listeners get your two albums?
